THE JOURNEY

Arrested by the Soviet authorities, the writer Mike Johansen is accused of planning a terrorist act. To save himself, the author had to convince the KGB officer that his literature had no counter-revolutionary sentiments. But in the process of interrogations, Johansen's attitude towards the Soviet government became obvious - metaphors that he embedded in his texts filled with contempt for the USSR. Therefore, now he can be executed because of the actions that his heroes do on their own. Can fictional characters influence the author's life? Will the tyrant Don Jose Pereira be able to save his creator, or will he lead to his downfall?
